Barington hired investment bank Houlihan Lokey to explore the options for Darden Restaurants Inc. The parent of Red Lobster, Olive Garden and Capital Grille has been facing pressure from investors led by Barington, which think the conglomeration of diverse eateries doesn't make much sense for shareholders.
