Germany Helped Train Ukraine's Riot Police

Germany provided equipment and training to Ukraine's feared riot police Berkut, a now-disbanded unit blamed for some of the worst abuses during recent anti-government protests, according to the German Interior Ministry's response to a member of parliament's request for information.
